Alfred’s Food Tech is a new Israeli based FoodTech company developing alternatives to animal proteins.
We are utilizing a new technology to produce plant-based meat, fish, and cheese analogues.
This technology mimics the texture, taste and mouth feel of animal source products as well as being very similar to the nutritional values of the animal source.
We are based in the Shilat, near Modiin.

Job description
-
Manage and lead R&D multidisciplinary teams and projects to advance product development
-
Exploring new technology food applications
-
Develop and execute R&D plan from lab to industrial scale
-
Participate in defining company’s technological strategy & objectives
-
Leading the company’s scientific training/qualification activities
-
Writing scientific documents including data collection
-
Scientific responsibility for troubleshooting and brain storming
-
Supporting partnership activities with external entities including food companies, subcontractors, regulatory authorities, etc.

Apply hands-on work when required in order to meet R&D project milestones and company goals
Requirements
-
Ph.D./M.Sc. in food science with expertise in product and process development
-
At least 5 years of experience with R&D activities from the Food industry
-
Proven leadership and management abilities
-
Excellent lecture and presentation skills in Hebrew and English
-
Experience in writing scientific documents: patents, protocols, reports, and SOPs, according to industry practices
-
A team player, thinking outside the box, and passionate about changing the world
